Shark Channel Recon – Key West Kayak Fishing

« We have been getting hit by a lot of passing rain storms so it has put the kabosh on flats fishing in the back country. I hadn’t been out to the channel in a while so this trip would help me get caught up on what was going on. Ran into a decent amount of Juvenile to Early Adult size Tarpon around the Mangroves and in the channel. Sharks were more active than usual as well. Ran into Pilchards on the flats and along the Mangroves which was a good bonus. »
